Gee, there are some good buggers* out there
Listening to the radio on the school drop-off, I heard two great stories this morning. The first was a person who had donated generously to a cause and when praised replied ‘it’s only money - you can always make more money’.
The other was a person who started their own small business, with all it’s inherent difficulties including shit cashflow in the beginning, with the philosophy that she would give 5% of revenue to charity. Revenue, not profit. So, in the tough times, she was borrowing money to meet this obligation and principle. But she stuck to her guns.
I salute you two anonymous peeps.
